Here I am, awake at two in the morning. Why? Because mozzies attacked me (ok, maybe it was just one) and now my feet itches like crazy, as well as back, leg and arm. By the way, I also have a cold now. This is just faaanntastic. Oh well, might as well study something... I think I'll do Chem.. Yeah, I will. See you peeps around, and good morning world!

Philipians 2:3-4"Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interest of others."
This is the verse that my English teacher shared with us today during morning assembly, for the month's theme is respect. Recently in an article we can see that Singapore is ranked the 30th most courteous country out of 35 - which basically means that we Singaporeans aren't courteous at all. To have no courtesy would mean we do not respect people enough.
Respect isn’t all about courtesy though. If we are not punctual, be it for appointments or handing in work, we disrespect the time we have; and not only our time, but others’ time as well. If we break the rules for whichever place we’re in, we disrespect the authorities of the place and the people in it.
I think it’s really sad that we, even as Christians, can be wanting in this area, adults and youth alike. Yet, we are to be the light that leads people to God. How can we do that if we don’t even respect each other in the first place? Not to mention unbelievers…
What was sadder still was that I can see that nothing went into the heads of many of those in the school – even the teachers. Disrespect continues to be displayed countless times despite the sharing that morning. I suppose we do deserve to be ranked so 30th in the list.
Oh Lord. Teach me to be respectful, to put others before myself. Forgive me for the countless times I’ve disobeyed Your word by being disrespectful. Also, help my friends to learn respect. For by respecting Your creation, do we respect You.
Amen.

Thank You so much for not leaving me! Thank You, thank You, thank You. Although the closeness isn't entirely there, I know we're getting there. I love You so so much. Thank You. The joy I feel at us becoming closer again is overwhelming. Please, continue to come closer, for I need You very much. Amen.
Well! The days have been alright lately, except I've been feeling kind of down.. I don't know. It's as if after I wrote that letter to God, the evil D decided to wham me with mind games. Like, I've been critisising myself, feeling lonely, becoming bossy, stupid, depressed or whatever. Looks like you didn't succeed you evil D. Hah. So shooo...! Don't bother me anymore because I've got God on my side. Evil thing with so much free time... Ch'
Heh heh. Anyway, yeah, I'm feeling better. Although it wouldn't seem like much of a difference because I'm good at masking myself. So! Two pieces of good news:
1) ARIEL AND FAMILY IS COMING TO SINGAPORE! From 11th to 24th July! Wooot! I miss them so much! Ever since they moved to Thailand, it's been kinda lonely. So it's a good thing they're coming! Thank goodness for the international school's 3 month summer!
2) I found my perfect heels! Finally! Haha. It cost about 32 bucks, so I took forever deciding whether or not I should buy them- Especially since they are hard to match. In the end, I got them. No regrets! Now if only I can figure out how to match them...
Anyway, that's all I have to say for tonight. So good night people!
